LANCASTER, PA – Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic President & CEO Michael R. Carper will accept an official membership charter from NeighborWorks America President and CEO Paul Weech during HDC MidAtlantic’s upcoming Faces of Affordable Housing Banquet April 26 at the Lancaster Marriott.
HDC MidAtlantic received its membership into the NeighborWorks America organization in June of last year after an extensive vetting process. NeighborWorks America is a nationally recognized affiliation of more than 240 nonprofit organizations located in every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. NeighborWorks America created the NeighborWorks network to improve housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income families; provide financial education and improve financial literacy; rebuild and repair properties; develop affordable multifamily homes; and use innovative strategies to improve safety and revitalize communities across the nation.
