Through grant monies and other donation sources, HDC3 Corporation, the 501 (c) (3) arm of HDC, is able to provide supportive services to 11 of our properties.
HDC has a number of full-time supportive services coordinators who work with our residents.
These coordinators help residents tap into community agencies and organizations that can help fill their needs, from the Office of Aging to the Boys and Girls Clubs Service workers help residents acheive a high quality of life by helping them with a variety of life skills through:
- Budget counseling
- Homework clubs
- Health screenings
- Exercise classes
- Games and social activities
- Computer classes
- Job training and resume writing helps
- Language classes
- Nutrition programs
- Parenting skills counseling
- And much more!
The Silver Streak bus, owned by HDC, serves five senior properties by taking the residents on trips for shopping, dining, sightseeing tours, and entertainment.
